Landsport’s Military Modular Aircraft Loading Ramp (MMARS) system is a shoring product that replaces the old stacked wood approach used to load equipment onto transport aircraft.   The ease by which the system is setup (no tools needed) will save you hours of time as compared to stacking the old wood shoring.  The military grade aluminum is lightweight and extremely durable.  The system is comprised of a number of different components that have been certified by the ATTLA  (File Number 2013.07.11 Rev11).   The components mainly include ramps, stands and pedestals that can be configured in a variety of ways to create the shoring configuration that meets your needs.  The system can be used on a C5, C17 and C130 so it is cross functional.   If a shorter configuration is needed, a subset of the components you have can be used to create that configuration.   If a longer configuration is needed at a later time, more components can be added to lengthen the system.   MMARS offers capacities up to 32,000 lb. max axle for loading up heavy equipment.  Lighter duty capacity configurations are also available to load up aircraft, boat trailers, enclosed trailers, etc.   Widths of ramps vary from 18” to 36” depending upon your needs.  If you are not sure what configuration you need, contact a Landsport representative at 877-687-RAMP and we can work together to find the best solution for you. MMARS Military Modular Aircraft Ramp System  ATTLA Certified, File Number 2013.07.11 Rev11 Combine ramps/stands/other components to create a configuration that meets your neeeds.
